Bob Bray

In 2008, Bob sold his corn company, "Bray Hybrids, Inc." to Kitchen Seed Company . He had been looking for an independent, family oriented seed company to work with so he could offer his customers a product line with more choices. He is now Southern Regional Manager and Genetics Consultant for Kitchen Seed Company and specializes in corn genetics.

Bob sells KSC Brand seed where he lives, with his wife, and farms in the Wapella, IL area. He also sells in southern Illinois, the boot-heel of Missouri and in Kentucky.

  • Dave Gilbert

    Dave has 33 years of service in the grain business, having held managerial positions in the Arcola area with Van Gundy Grain, Cargill and the Illinois Cereal Mills. He has been with Kitchen Seed Company since 2003 and works his sales territory east of Arcola to Paris, south to the Marshall/Casey area and north to Tuscola. His expertise lies in the food grade corn.

    Dave graduated from Lakeland Community College with an associate degree in Agri Business and has been working with farmers for over 40 years. He was born and raised on a farm near Hindsboro, Il and still lives in the area. He and his wife, Vicki, live in Arcola and spend a lot of time enjoying the grandchildren.

  • Dean Fink

    Dean farms and sells KSC brand seed in the Onarga, IL area where he lives with his wife and children. His territory includes most of the Northeastern part of Illinois. He has been in sales for Kitchen Seed Co. since 2003. He knows firsthand which products perform best in his territory from using them on his own farm.

  • Duane Hopkins

    Duane began in sales for Kitchen Seed Co., Inc. in 1997 and has expanded his sales territory to cover almost all of Central Illinois. His duties, as Corporate Sales Manager, include assisting the entire sales staff in day-to-day operations and crop planning for all areas of agriculture, including grain, forage and wildlife.

    He is a 1979 graduate of Lakeland Community College with an associate degree. He has many years of farm experience, both in livestock and grain production. His expertise lies in the wildlife forage blends and he works hand in hand with Real World Wildlife Seed to study and develop foodplot blends. However, he is very knowledgeable in all the crops Kitchen Seed Co. sells and produces.

    Duane and his wife, Connie, reside in Arthur, IL where they both were born and raised. He is active with the local volunteer fire department and enjoys hunting and being outdoors.

  • Mike Vanausdoll

    In 1976, Mike graduated from Lewis and Clark Junior College with an Associates Degree, and after a few years of various jobs in the Jerseyville, Illinois area where he grew up, he began his seed career with Pioneer Hybrid International which eventually led him to Kitchen Seed Co., Inc. He started at Kitchen Seed Co. in 1981 and moved his family to Arthur, Illinois to later become Co-President of the company. He and his wife, Kim, now live near Lake Shelbyville in Shelby County.

    Mike's primary responsibilities at Kitchen Seed include marketing, research and product development. He was acting sales manager for 20 years and is a past President of Illinois Seed Trade Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Illinois Crop Improvement.

  • Randy Dasenbrock

    Growing up on a dairy farm near Sigel, Illinois set the stage for Randy to attend and graduate from Lakeland Community College in Mattoon, IL and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL with an Agri Business Finance degree.

    Randy still lives in the area where he was raised and helps work on the family farm with his father and brothers. Off the farm, he has worked in agri-business since 1999. His sales territory for Kitchen Seed Co. is from Rte. 16 in Illinois, south to Vandalia, east to Casey and west to the Mississippi River. He has been with Kitchen Seed Co. since 2008.

    Randy and his wife, Emma, have two children and enjoy off-roading in their spare time.

  • Rex Syrcle

    Rex is manager of the Pittsfield, Illinois location of Kitchen Seed Co., Inc. and has been with the company since 1994. He specializes in grain, small seed, grasses and food plots but also takes care of the day-to-day operations of the branch location. His experience is largely a result of being raised on an active farm in the Pittsfield area and farming there for several years.

    He and his wife, Rhonda, still reside in that area and have two sons. Rex handles sales in the west central area of the state of Illinois.

    Zack has been with Kitchen Seed Company since 2011. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology and a minor in Environmental Studies.

    His hobbies include hunting, fishing and enjoying varies outdoor activities such as golf and kayaking.

    Being born and raised in Arthur, he is familiar with the community and the surroundings. He currently resides in Arthur with his wife and two sons.
